Icelandic for beginners

The course is intended for adults of foreign origin who live in Iceland and have another language as a mother tongue.  The basic vocabulary of Icelandic is introduced, the structure of the language and usage.  The emphasis is on pronunication, oral expression and understanding of simple words and phrases from daily language.  The teaching methods are based on practical exercises connected to real circumstances.
