Multicultural day in Reykjavík

The Multicultural day of Reykjavík will be celebrated for the 3rd time on Saturday th 14 th of May. The aim is to celebrate the diverse culture that the soicety offers. This day is organised by thr office of Human Rights in cooperation with "Samhljómur menningarheima".

The mayor Jón Gnarr opens the festival at Hallgrímskirkja at 1 p.m. After the opening sessions a multinational parade will go to the City hall of Reykjavík.   The festival of nations will be held the where diverse culture will be presented and a festive live agenda. In Iðnó is going to be a international market with tons of products from various countries.
