W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland

W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland, the organization of foreign women in Iceland, was founded nine years ago. We have received very positive responses everywhere in the Icelandic society and it is clear that there is a big need for such an organization to participate in the discourse on immigrants and human rights.
W.O.M.E.N. in Icelandis open to all women of foreign origin living in Iceland. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge, time and experience with W.O.M.E.N., you are welcome to come forward and let us know if you are interested in running for a seat on the board or would like to participate in some other way in our activities.
The annual meeting of W.O.M.E.N. will be held on Thursday, 22 November 2012 at 8:00 pm at Hallveigarstaðir, Túngata 14, 101 Reykjavík.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our meeting.
